Strains of Marijuana Perfect for the Weekend

You may be the type of person that just likes to stick with the things they know. You have your favorite foods, your favorite shows, and your favorite marijuana strains. After all, if you know what you like, why take the risk of trying something different? A lot of people feel this about using marijuana as well. Since weed can be relatively expensive depending on where you live, it could be a bit of financial risk to buy a weed strain that you end up not even liking. However, you never know when you could be one purchase away from finding your new favorite weed strain that you have ever smoked in your life. In this article, we are going to be talking about how to relax and just enjoy some marijuana on the weekends.

If you have been stressed about your job or about school, or even about finances, there is never a good time like the weekend to light up a joint and just relax. However, in today’s world it seems like we are always so busy. Even on the weekends, we always have the next thing going on that we need to do. For some people, the thought of trying to relax and do nothing is a very scary one. We are all too used to keeping busy. However, there is something that might be able to help you relax and forget about some of the things that are stressing you out - yes, I am talking about cannabis!

If you are looking for ways to relax and try to manage some of your anxiety, I have some really perfect strains in mind that can really help you out with that. Here are some of my favorites: Triple Chocolate Chip, Jawa Pie, Dakini Kush, Ray Charles, Illuminati OG, Captain America OG, and Pink Rozay. These strains are great for just trying to hangout on the couch and relax. Order some food, put on a movie, and just have a great time. These strains are indica dominant, which means that they will be great at sedating you and allowing you to feel comfortable on your couch or bed or wherever you happen to be hanging out. If you are trying to relax, these strains will do the trick! Plus, if you are worried about trying new strains because of the munchies or being too tired, you can just count on having a long weekend ahead of you. If you are looking for a way to enjoy and relax with cannabis that doesn’t involve getting locked up on the couch, then you may be interested in trying something with a little more sativa than indica.

The difference between the two is the type of high that you will experience. Sativa is a great way to enjoy your weekend, get high, but not to have to worry about falling asleep with a bag of doritos on your lap. Maybe you want to have a creative afternoon of painting or crafting? Sativa is a great way to feel an increase in energy levels and happiness, so you don’t have to feel like your hobbies are not interesting to you and all of that. A study conducted several years ago about sativa dominant cannabis found that people with low creativity actually had increased creative thoughts and verbal fluency after smoking cannabis. Some of the best sativa strains out there for relaxing and having fun on the long weekend are these: Chemdawg, Berry White, Space Queen, Tangie, Amnesia Haze, and LSD (not to be confused with actual LSD). I hope this article was helpful to you!

What You Need To Know About CBD Gummies

When it comes to medical marijuana, there are not a whole lot of people who consider CBD to be their top tier pick. Afterall, what’s the point in consuming a cannabis product if it does not even get you high? Well, there are actually numerous health benefits that are associated with CBD, and there is a surprising amount of benefits packed into those little gummies. CBD gummies are a great option for a whole variety of reasons, and you may not be aware of all the features that CBD gummies have to offer.

The great thing about CBD gummies is that they are a hemp-derived product and have 0.3% or less THC - this means that CBD is now federally legal in the United States! I hope that we can see the same thing happen with THC heavy marijuana products, but we can at least celebrate the small victories at the moment. The good news right now is that people without a medical marijuana card can buy CBD gummies without a hitch and start feeling the benefits of cannabis for themselves. I wrote another article yesterday about how to tell if you are buying real medical grade CBD or some cheap knock off, and I highly suggest reading that! There are small differences between the fakes and the real things, and it is important that you can tell the difference between the two. So if you are wondering about CBD, we have some great information in the paragraphs below that should help you come to a decision about which ones you want to buy.

The first thing I need to tell you about CBD gummies is that they taste amazing. If you are into candy in general, then CBD gummies are going to be right up your alley. Honestly, it’s amazing what we can do in this day and age when it comes to making things taste good. In the older days of edible cannabis and hemp products, CBD gummies had a gross medicinal taste that did not leave a great taste in the mouth. Who wants to take medicine and have it taste bad? Not me.

Nowadays, CBD gummies taste just like any other real candy and don't taste anything like cannabis. In fact, it doesn’t even smell like cannabis either. If you open up a bag of CBD gummies, you don’t have to worry about making everyone and everything around you smell like weed - instead, you can smell the nice sweet smell of candy. This is great for people who are trying to experience the benefits of CBD secretly and quietly. Some people who have tried CBD oil for the health benefits will admit that they absolutely hate the taste. On the other hand, you can try CBD gummies for a great taste with all the benefits. You don’t even have to worry about a gross aftertaste either.

The other thing that you need to know about CBD gummies is that they can help with inflammation. Many people who use CBD and even rely on it are people suffering from chronic diseases and pain caused by inflammation. When most of us think of inflammation, we think of swollen skin on the outside of the body. In actuality, inflammation can occur on a cellular level and can cause extreme discomfort for the patient. That is why using CBD gummies as a way to treat inflammation is becoming more and more popular with time. Because of our current diet in these modern times, many of us are subject to a whole host of chemicals and preservatives in our food that we are not even aware of. This can cause inflammation and other problems in our body.

What Does the Future of Marijuana Look Like?

Ever wondered what the future of marijuana is going to look like? Picture the United States in 20 years or so. Do you think that state and federal governments are going to become more lenient with cannabis growth and consumption, or do you foresee things turning out differently? Well, it is a good thing you are reading this article, because I have a lot to say on this issue. It’s no secret that the recent year was an awful one for everybody. It was so bad that many people began to deal with severe mental health illnesses and unexplained problems and conditions. Consequently, cannabis consumption has significantly increased in the United States during that time and continues to climb as we speak.

What does this mean for the future? Well, I think it means that we are looking at a society that is slowly but surely realizing the amazing health benefits that cannabis has to offer. It seems as though governments are also realizing the potential benefits of marijuana. Not only has it shown to be more beneficial for the human body than alcohol, but marijuana also is a very profitable industry and could produce a lot of money in tax revenue for the United States. At the moment, there are currently 35 states out of the 50 in America that have legalized cannabis, and that is really good progress from years ago. However, I would still say that there’s a long way to go before we reach full legalization on a federal level.

For those people out there who don’t think that marijuana should be legalized, I believe that they are simply not aware of all the economical, political, and physical benefits that the legalization of marijuana can bring to people all over the United States. First of all, legalizing cannabis on a federal level would actually decrease crime rates all throughout the United States. Think about all the people out there being charged with crimes for possessing marijuana - meanwhile, someone 50 miles west in a different state would be legally allowed to have that same drug.

It simply does not make sense. Not only will it make people’s lives easier that are just trying to treat their chronic conditions with cannabis, but it will also make law makers and police forces job’s easier as well since there will not be as much to get people in trouble for. Shouldn’t we be focused on the more serious offense anyways? Someone smoking cannabis isn’t going to be bothering anybody. It also is true that people who have been charged with cannabis-related crimes in the past could be expunged from jail time and other penalties that they now face. It is nice to know that both President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris encourage the legalization and decriminalization of marijuana throughout the United States. I think we are taking steps in the right direction, but there is still a long way to go for sure.

Using Cannabis to Boost Energy Levels

Living life can be exhausting. One of the hardest things to deal with is having low energy levels throughout the day. We all have days in which we just don’t feel like ourselves and just feel too tired to get anything done. Hopefully, these days are few and far between. However, some people deal with the unfortunate reality of having chronic fatigue. This is the type of fatigue that doesn;t just go away after you’ve had a couple cups of coffee or an energy drink - whether it be caused by insomnia, chronic disease, or other underlying condition, trying to get through your day while suffering from chronic fatigue can truly be a nightmare.

There are also not a whole lot of healthy resources out there for people dealing with chronic fatigue or just can’t seem to find enough energy to get things. Relying on prescription medications or an unhealthy amount of caffeine every day is not a good idea just to raise your energy levels. However, using cannabis may be an effective way to increase your energy levels. If you are not very informed about medical marijuana, then you may be really confused about what I just said. After all, isn’t cannabis used to help people relax and fall asleep? Won’t it just make people even more tired and just make them collapse down on the couch? Well, you are not entirely wrong. Cannabis can make people feel extremely relaxed and drowsy, but that is not always the case. Today, we are going to be talking about how you can use marijuana to boost your energy levels and increase your mood throughout the day.

So what actually causes chronic fatigue and energy loss? Well, like I started to get at in the last paragraph or so, it can be a variety of different things. One such factor can be our lifestyle choices. If you are someone who has to sit down a lot for your job and mainly spends most of the day very sedentary, you are much more likely to experience chronic fatigue. That is why doctors are so adamant about patients getting enough exercise. At the end of the day when you try to sleep, your mind may be extremely tired, but your body is not because it hasn’t gotten enough movement throughout the day. This can be a huge problem in our natural sleeping patterns and can cause some fatigue and energy loss. Other factors include diet problems like not getting enough nutrients through the food you are consuming, and also dealing with physical or mental health problems. Certain diseases and conditions can cause one to experience low energy levels and lead to chronic fatigue.

Mental health disorders like depression can also severely impede on one’s energy levels and make it hard to do anything at all. There are also certain prescription medications that can make it very hard to feel energized throughout the day. Anyone who has taken antidepressant medication or antianxiety medication can tell you just how debilitating these prescriptions can be in terms of energy loss. No matter what the case is, there is hope out there for you in the form of medical marijuana. Not a lot of people associate using cannabis with being productive, but there are actually a lot of strains out there that promote creativity, increased energy levels, and increased mood levels. Make sure that you find a very strong sativa strain with a high CBD content as well. The combination of these two things will be great for your overall mood and energy, and you may be surprised at how good you feel.

What To Do If Your Weed Is All Dried Out

Now that cannabis is becoming more accessible across the United States, more and more people are getting to use the benefits and wonderful effects of consuming marijuana on a regular basis. While there are plenty of marijuana veterans out there who have maybe been users since before it became legal, there are a lot of cannabis novices who are just getting started. Just like anything else in life, cannabis can take some time to really learn about and become more experienced. Luckily, you have people like me that can write articles to help you out when you are just getting started. Firstly, I’d like to talk about what happens when you let your weed get dried out.

This is every veteran pothead's worst fear. Most people tend to just smoke weed right when they get it from the dispensary, or soon thereafter. However, some people like to legally grow their own weed (in states that allow it) and then store it for a later time. The problem with this, however, is that weed can actually go bad. You might be surprised to hear that marijuana can become dried up after a while or even grow mold and fungus! That would definitely ruin your next smoking session. Not only is it bad to smoke mold and fungus, but dried out marijuana is no fun either. Since the plant has dried up and gone stale, you don’t get the same flavor as one would expect from a terpenes and flavonoids filled marijuana bud. One way people like to store their marijuana is by keeping it moist, but this can lead to mold and fungus problems like I already shared above. That is why it’s important to keep your cannabis fresh. However, if you do happen to experience some dried out weed, there are ways that you can recharge it

So what happens when your weed gets dried out? Why can’t it just hangout for longer and not go dry as a bone? Well, it has to do with the medical and healing properties of the plant. Cannabinoids and terpenes that are found in cannabis degrade overtime when they are exposed to heat and light. This is where your THC comes from and what allows you to experience a high. Certain strains of marijuana are actually more susceptible to drying up over time, so you want to make sure to pay careful attention to your buds depending on which strain you are rolling with. So without further ado, let’s talk about some of the ways that you can recharge your dried out marijuana buds.

The first tip is something that you might have seen your mom use as a hack in the kitchen. Hydro Stones can actually recharge your weed. Basically, these stones soak up water and distribute moisture effectively without actually soaking everything around it. These stones are perfect for if you are storing weed in a container somewhere and don’t want everything to get dried out. Cannabis can be a little tricky to store long term, so taking extra care is crucial in making sure that you don’t ruin your weed.

As an extra step, you can try wrapping it in plastic and leaving only one part of the rock uncovered. This can help keep your weed from touching the stone and growing mold. Another way to recharge your marijuana is to use boveda humidity patches. Adding these packages to your container or jar of cannabis is a great way to hydrate your weed and make it smokable again. The patches contain purified water that won’t pollute your marijuana and can preserve the cannabinoids and terpenes that contain the healing benefits.

What’s The Difference Between Delta 8 and Delta 9?

Since weed is becoming legalized in more states through the United States, we are seeing a plethora of new cannabis products being released each year. Some people may not be familiar with Delta-8 or Delta-9, and that’s okay. The weed that you are most used to smoking on a regular basis, and the high that you are most familiar with, is most likely from Delta-9 THC. This is probably the THC that fills the shelves of your local dispensary and gives you that great after work high that you have become so used to.

However, Delta-8 is also something that you should be considering when it comes to using marijuana. What is Delta-8? It’s also a form of cannabis found in hemp. In 1975, there was cancer research done with both Delta-8 and Delta-9 THC on mice. The actual purpose of this study was to see if these products could suppress the immune system and aid in the development of cancerous cells and tumors in the body. Do you know what the researchers found? Instead of harming the mice, Delta-8 actually showed that it had cancer fighting properties. Believe it or not, the Delta-8 THC actually displayed an ability to kill cancer cells in certain situations.

Another study was done later that displayed Delta-8 THC’s ability to reduce cancer tumors and help in the recovery process. So what became of this research? After all, this was so long ago. Well, since these studies were done in the 70s, there have been a lot more studies done to see how cannabinoids can help fight cancer cells in the body and ultimately help protect people from forming various types of cancer. Interestingly, cancer is now one of the qualifying conditions on many states medical marijuana programs. And we owe it all to this research!

It’s safe to say that we still don’t know all there is to know about cannabis. In fact, we really have not been studying the medical properties of marijuana for very long, meaning that there is still a lot for us to learn. One thing that we do know, however, is that weed is getting stronger and stronger as we continue to grow and produce it. Years ago, the level of THC found in cannabis was much lower than what you can expect to find in popular marijuana plants nowadays.

For some people, smoking for the first time can leave them a pretty bad spot since they have a very low tolerance. For other people, their tolerance is much higher because they have consumed much more cannabis. We know that the human body tends to develop tolerances for any kind of drug, including tobacco and alcohol. Heck, even prescription medications eventually need to be increased in dosage level once our body has grown accustomed to it. With that being said, it may be important to notice the levels of THC slowly increasing in the weed that our generations have been smoking. While it used to be an average of 4% THC in the early 90s, we are now looking at cannabis with 20-40% THC levels instead.

There is research that shows that too much THC can actually hurt our brains. With THC levels continuing to increase as we grow more and more tolerant, when will we need to put a cap on potency levels? Well, some states are actually already putting barriers on the potency of cannabis being grown and sold in that state. Colorado and Washington are examples of these states. I know that this article does not necessarily talk enough about Delta-8 or Delta-9, but I hope that you still were able to learn something1

What You Need to Know About Managing Anxiety With Medical Marijuana

My heart goes out to people who are currently struggling with anxiety, as it is not an easy path to be on and can often feel isolating. In some cases, common anxiety problems can become a disorder and lead to depressive episodes. Thankfully, more attention has been brought to the mental health crisis that people in the United States are having to face, but there is still a long way to go for how our healthcare systems and social programs can help people who are really going through it.

In fact, it is written that around 40 million adults in the United States are affected by some type of anxiety disorder. That number is astounding! If you feel that you are one of those 40 million people, at least you can know that you are not alone. There are plethora of “solutions” that are suggested to people who suffer with anxiety: medication, therapy, exercise, less responsibilities, and others, are often what people suggest for those affected with disorders. While those are helpful things at times, medications often fall flat when it comes to really treating symptoms and can have some pretty nasty side effects. Medical marijuana has gained more traction in America as an effective means to treat and manage anxiety. Extensive research has been done that actually shows promising results of using cannabis to treat anxiety disorders.

Marijuana is a very effective treatment for a variety of issues, ranging from physical pain, chronic illnesses, and mental health disorders. Now that marijuana has become more acceptable as a treatment option in over half of the United States, it is much more common for people to use cannabis to treat a variety of problems in their life. That’s the great thing about medical marijuana - it can be used for so many different issues, ailments, and pains. Also, if you are thinking about trying medical marijuana for yourself, it’s important to note that cannabis comes in lots of different forms.

Many people associate marijuana with smoking a bong or something like that. There are actually a lot of different ways to consume marijuana, and each one is unique in its own way. Inhalation, like smoking marijuana through a vape, dab pen, bong, or wrap is the method that will give you the quickest results. However, it is also the quickest to wear off. Other methods include edibles that come in a huge variety of treats and snacks! Gummies, cookies, pills, and capsules as well. So don’t feel like you have to be stuck in one method of cannabis consumption to get results. A dispensary near you will likely have all the variety that you’ll ever need.

Another important part of medical marijuana is figuring out what works best for you. Similar to how prescription medications effective each person a little differently, medical marijuana does not work the same for every person. After all, it is a drug. Your doctor or medical professional can guide you on what method would work best for you to consume medical marijuana, and it is also helpful to start on a lower dose when just starting out.

Similar to how one takes smaller amounts of a prescription drug and then works their way up to a higher dosage over the course of a few weeks or months. It is also important to keep in mind that there are lots of different cannabis strains that work better for treating anxiety than others. In fact, some strains may make your anxiety worse. That is why it is important to talk to professionals and do your research before diving in.
